QIN Lingjing

Deputy of Special Service Subteam 1, Hongkou Fire Station. He always dreamed of being a soldier but now operates a water cannon. His 5-year service will be done finished, so he has a tough decision to make, to leave or stay? He knows his wife and ill mother need him home. 

JIANG Yunfei

Head of Hongkou Fire Station. Born in 1985, he is still young but already the oldest here. He is strict about training and thinks fire rescue is a job that requires both physical strength and technique. All that depends on good training. His practical experience has proved to be very useful, saving many lives.

WANG Dajing

Head of Special Service Subteam 2, Hongkou Fire Station. Studying at China Fire & Rescue Institute has always been his dream. He studies hard to do well but he is concerned about his results. Both he and his younger sister took the college admission exam and are hopeful.

WANG Bin

Head of Special Service Subteam 1, Yichang Fire Station. He is a great husband and caring grandson. He’s been in high spirits recently because his wife is pregnant. He decides to take a leave from the station to spend some time with his wife and visit his aging grandpa. 

GAO Qingjie

Head of Yichang Fire Station, 33 years old. Started as a primary-level firefighter and is now captain. Demanding when training his team. His annual medical shows a potentially serious heart issue and he may be transferred away from frontline duty. All the station is concerned. 

HUANG Hao

Deputy Head of Special Service Subteam 1, Yichang Fire Station. His colleagues nickname him 'Lao Biao', meaning cousin, because he is from Jiangxi province. He may leave the service when his 5-year-term is over but he wants to prepare the new firefighters for the future.

WU Aifan

Head of Special Service Subteam 2, Hongkou Fire Station. A confident man who excels at sport and is a key player in the team. He takes the lead but his ankle was injured so his training might suffer. 

ZHANG Yijie

Station Instructor of Hongkou Fire Station. He was born in the 1990s. He and Captain Jiang take care of every firefighter. He is a key member of the team and always on hand to give advice and support to all the crew.

WANG Yansheng

Instructor of Yichang Fire Station, he took up his new post here at the same time as Gao. His new job is to take care of this big professional family while Gao takes care of firefighting and rescue missions.
